Mollie Fenton has owned her business, The Fenton/Stahl Gallery in downtown Walla Walla since 1995. She started out as an artist and went to work as a framer so that she could afford to frame her own work. "Now", says Fenton, "I am a framer-gallery owner who paints a little when I have time." She works with assistant Shanna Johnson and daughter Crystal Frazure and together they make sure that each customer gets the perfect framing for his or her particular photo, artwork or memorabilia. Fenton/Stahl Gallery specializes in conservation framing so that your artwork or fine art print can be enjoyed for many years without being damaged by harmful UV rays or wood acid burn. They also custom-stretch canvases for artists, gallery wrap photos on canvas, shadow box 3-dimensional objects, cut multiple-opening mats in different sizes and shapes and offer many more creative framing possibilities. They have a wide variety of frame samples and matting colors and types to choose from. Fenton's team offers framing supplies a la carte to the artists who like to do their own framing.
